Welcome to Fob Repair Expert. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and our repair services. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Services Provided

Fob Repair Expert provides specialized micro-circuitry repair services for automotive key fobs. Our goal is to restore the electronic functionality of your original key fob. While we boast a high success rate, we do not guarantee that every fob is repairable, especially in cases of severe terminal damage or previous failed repair attempts.

2. Shipping & Handling

  • Inbound Shipping: We provide a pre-paid USPS shipping label for your convenience. It is the customer's responsibility to package the key fob securely in a padded envelope or small box to prevent damage during transit.

  • Outbound Shipping: Repaired fobs are returned via USPS Priority Mail with tracking.

  • Loss or Damage in Transit: Fob Repair Expert is not liable for items lost or damaged by the carrier (USPS). We recommend customers record their tracking numbers and consider additional insurance for high-value luxury fobs.

3. Repair Timeline

Our standard repair turnaround is 3 business days from the date we receive your item at our facility. This timeline does not include shipping transit times. While we strive to meet this window, complex repairs may occasionally require additional time.

4. "No Fix, Full Refund" Policy

  • If our technicians determine that your key fob is not repairable, we will issue a 100% full refund of the repair fee.

  • In "No Fix" cases, we will return your unrepairable fob to you at no additional shipping cost.

5. Customer Responsibility & Disclosures

  • Accurate Description: You agree to provide an accurate description of the fob's issues (e.g., water damage, physical trauma).

  • Existing Damage: Fob Repair Expert is not responsible for any pre-existing physical damage or internal damage discovered during the diagnostic process.

  • Vehicle Compatibility: Our service fixes the fob's electronics. We are not responsible if your vehicle requires additional on-site programming that cannot be solved by circuitry repair alone.

6. Warranty

We provide a 90-day warranty on our specific repairs. This warranty covers the specific components or circuits we serviced. It does not cover new damage (e.g., subsequent water damage) or unrelated hardware failures.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fob Repair Expert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services, including the inability to operate your vehicle while the key is in our possession. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts within the United States.
